Why is my arrears retirement contribution on allowed to be a lower amount?



I want to claim the last 2 year retirement contributions its meant to be R6396.60 but they only allowing me to claim R1800.

SARS only allows you to deduct a maximum of R1800 in arrear contirbutions per year, so that means that you carry over the excess that is not deducted in the current year to the following year and so on until all you arrear contributions that you have made are deducted.
