What happens if a taxpayer passes away?



What if one passed away can anyone on your family can claim your tax?

If a taxpayer passes away then the estate will have to submit a final tax return and if there is a refund, this will be paid to the estate. Whomever inherits money from the estate will be entitled to this refund.
