What does 'transaction reference' 2 mean on my ITSA?

I submitted documents for review and received a completion letter on 17 July 2013, stating that no adjustment has been made to my original assessment (SARS owes me) however, on my ITSA it shows a date of 2013-08-01 with transaction reference 2 and then the transaction value still showing that SARS owes me. What does this mean and how long before they would pay me out? I don't have my own bank account but has registered my mother's bank account on my first ITR12 that I've done last year and that amount also still has not been paid out to me?

You would need to have your own bank account in your own name for payment to be made to you unfortunately. SARS do not pay into other accounts.

Reference 2 is a SARS reference which they use to understand that a refund is due to you and you don't need to worry about it. However you must get a bank account in order to receive your refund,
