Hello Team,

I got a response stated below against audit of my tax return, could me please assist to understand the response? Am I going to get my refund as per the submitted tax returns or not?

However, in terms of the Tax Administration Act the South African Revenue Service reserves the right to conduct further reviews in future if required. This means that your documents have been reviewed and all is in order and SARS doesn't require anything further, nor have they changed your refund (i.e assessed amount). You should receive your refund in a few days.

If you don't, you could always call SARS on 0800 007 277 to find out reasons for the delay. It may be that you have tax returns from prior years outstanding or require your bank details to be verified. Please do read our blog on Why haven't I received my tax refund yet?
