If I don't get a car allowance and the work refunds my petrol when I drive to clients, can I claim wear and tear on my personal vehicle. Where do you fill this in on eFiling?

Yes, but you should have a letter from your employer stating you use your car for work purposes. Register for TaxTim and answer our questions under the deductions section where we show you how to calculate this wear and tear. Remember SARS will only allow you to deduct the business portion of this wear and tear.
