Does your employer allow you to use these personal assets?

Yes we are allowed to use our own personal laptops. I paid for all of the software and for the laptop myself and need it when I do my work. Not sure if I can claim for it since I use it at work everyday?

Yes you will be able to claim this under the depreciation question on your return. Please Register for TaxTim and let us assist you in doing so and filing your return with SARS.
