Why will the amount deducted from my salary for pension fund, differ from the amount shown on my eFiling tax calc?

You are only allowed a maximum of 7.5% of your salary as a deduction, whereas your contribution also includes the portion paid by the employer and perhaps a greater amount than 7.5%.
