Must I keep a weekly logbook?

My wife and I submitted a weekly logbook for the 2011/2012 tax year. My wife's one were accepted but mine declined. I can't now fill in a day to day logbook as I'm not going to thumbsuck where I've traveled during that year as this is impossible. What am I to do?

Unfortunately you are going to have to either compile a logbook or not submit one to SARS and they will disallow the deduction. It is SARS practice to now only accept completed logbooks.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but it is better to avoid a penalty from SARS for not submission or not putting the correct information even if it results in a lower refund.
