We have no medical aid, but have dental and optometrist receipts for work done. How can we deduct this when we declare the IRP6 and ITR12?

In your tax return you would include the amount within the medical section "medical expenses not recovered from your medical scheme" (source code 4020).

Please make use of our Medical Tax Credits Calculator to see if there will be a medical tax credit.

If so, on your IRP6, you can insert in the field for "additional medical expenses tax credit"
