As a commission earner do I have to have a travel logbook?

If you wish to claim travel expenses in order to reduce your taxes payable then it would be best to have a logbook yes if SARS ask for proof of your expenses.

You would need to prove to SARS somehow that the amount claimed for travelling expenses was justified as business use.
