On 2012 I did my eFiling and my return was R-1478.05 this year 2014 I received Notice issued on SARS for ITA34 for 2012/1
Thank you for submitting your income tax return for the 2012 year of assessment.Your assessment has been concluded and reflects an amount refundable to you of R-1478.05
please note that this amount only reflects your income tax assessment and does not reflect tax payable under any previous assessment or any othre balances on your account. The current balance on your assessed account is R-35845.48.for a statement reflecting your final balance(including all amounts payable or refundable under any previous assessment, refunds, payments, additional taxes/understatement penalities, penalities and interest).
Does it mean I must submit anything for Sars, after they have done an Audit for the year 2014 with amount due of R-30321.04 and I have also recieved completion letter for verification of assessment for 2014 please advise?

Phone SARS and ask if they are doing a further audit, they are allowed to do this after the completion letter sent. Otherwise you will receive your refund in a few days.

Thanks Tim,

How long is a turn around to get refund from SARS if amount is R30000 or more?

If there is a further audit then this can take between 30 to 60 days. IF no further audit then the refund should be made available in the next few days.
