Is a UK property sale liable for SA CGT

I've recently sold a property in the United Kingdom, and transferred the proceeds thereof over to South Africa. I'm a South African citizen, registered with SARS. Am I liable to pay capital gains tax here in SA?

Yes you will be - did you pay any tax in the UK?

The sale in the UK does not require a CGT payment, thanks to regulation brought in this April for non-resident property owners.
What is the rate I should brace myself to pay in SA CGT?

You would include 1/3 of the gain in your income which then gets taxed at your marginal rate.
