Can Doctors Register a Company in South Africa?

For a doctor running a private practice in South Africa, can a company be registered and will this be a benefit in terms of tax implications as compared to a sole proprietorship?

A doctor can register a company, but unless you are employing 3 or more un-connected employees there will be no specific benefit other than the income tax rate payable. Companies are taxed at 28% whereas a sole proprietorship will be taxed according to the marginal tax rates of individuals.
