Are the SARS office calculations always right?

I have received a ITA34 which shows the refund, I have now been audited 3 years consecutively 2010,2011 and 2012.I had no other information to submit only medical aid and was employed for 4mths of this 2012 tax year due to retrenchment.

In a lot of cases the retrenchment IRP5 was not entered correctly by your employer or sent to SARS. Did you receive any payout for being retrenched? On your IRP5 there could be a number on the bottom right hand corner for Tax Directives?

The audits are random, so perhaps you are just unlucky and keep getting selected. If your refund is over R10 000 which it may be because you only worked a few months of the year then you will most always be selected for a refund.

There are many times when the person at the SARS desk, if you have gone into a SARS office to submit, may have captured the information incorrectly due to no real fault. If you want to send the return to I can have a look for you?
