Unemployed - tax on providend fund payout

I've resigned last year, received my provident fund. On my paper it stated on my employees tax deduction - non-refund PAYE. What does that mean?

That means that SARS takes tax on the lumpsum received, but this cannot be refunded to you regardless of your other tax deductions.
