What documents should you submit to SARS when they request supporting documents for income tax returns as a Sole proprietor ?

At first a spreadsheet of all incomes and expenses with dates as well as the actual invoices or receipts for the income earned and any documents showing proof of the expenses incurred that you submitted on your return. If you keep a dedicated bank account then statements from that can help too, but only if requested by SARS.
