Are payments by Medical Aid Funds for medical expenses incurred ( eg. Chronic medication) on behalf of a member treated as qualified medical expenses

Qualified medical expenses are those medical costs that you pay yourself that are not reimbursed by your medical aid. They have to be payments to a registered health practitioner (e.g.. Doctor, nurse, etc) or for prescription medicines.
