If deregistering a CC, am I required to "catch up" on tax years not submitted?

If my CC is deregistering this month, but I hadn't submitted a 2013 and 2014 tax return, am I required to do so now?

You would need to be up to date from a SARS point of view. In the event you owe them money this would always be needed to be settled.
