How do I check if my return was successfully submitted?

Who do I contact so that they may check for me if my return was successfully submitted, and what information must I have at hand on inquiring?

You would have received an ITA34 from SARS after your return was submitted which details your assessment and whether you owe SARS or whether SARS owes you a refund.
