I am 68 years old. My son has offered to gift me R3000 per month on an ongoing basis to help me out with my living costs. Will this have any tax implications for either him or me? Do either of us need to declare this amount on our tax returns?

I have been working on a project for the past 3 months, the company has been deducting tax from my salary, now when I check with SARS I found out that I have not being paying income tax during the 3 months period. Is this fraud by company? Or is they another explanation of where my tax was going to.

I personally pay the 100% contribution for my wife and two kids to be on medial aid. She is the primary member. I do not belong to any medical aid. Can I claim a rebate.

I have been working as a guide in the tourism industry for the past year or two. I did not get a payslip just money paid into my account, I also get cash tips from time to time. I have a tax number as previous I worked in the bigger company. How do I go about paying outstanding tax if there is any without getting trouble from SARS?
May the water & light bill and property tax which is on owners' name be claimed even if we pay

I was previously running a business as a sole prop and therefore was registered as a provisional taxpayer. I have now registered a business and pay myself a salary from this. Am I still a provisional taxpayer or can I go back to doing one return per year as before? And if so, is there anything I need to do, or just simply no longer submit IRP6's?

I used to work for Transman Work for Africa, they normally deduct tax on my salary, now I need to resign & they want my tax number. Can u please advise me what must I do to get my tax number?

I run an nursing agency were I pay the staff weekly some do have permanent jobs and some don't. For the ones which have permanent jobs having salary end of the month will they owe SARS?

I resigned in March this year (2015) and decided to withdraw my provident fund and reinvest it elsewhere. However, I received my IRP5 from my previous employer without the contributions that was made by the company for my provident fund for the last financial year (Feb 2014-Feb 2015). Is this correct?
Should they leave it out because I withdrew my provident fund this year? Does it still affect last financial years contributions?

I am employed but the employer pay me for the hours worked and does not deduct any taxes or UIF I am responsible for my own taxes. Must I register a business or how can I go about paying over the taxes so I do not need to pay in at the end of the year in my personal capacity.

I am interested in using your services to help me file my return, but I'm not too sure if mine can be done online as per your services or if I will have to go in to see a tax consultant. The complexity lies in that fact that I have a company vehicle, not a car allowance. On my tax return it is represented as code 3802. Is this something that your services cater to?
