I am self employed, I work as a contractor and I was recently told by my accountant to keep all my slips and I just confirmed with him that all my expenses are on my bank statements, as those are my proof of payments, I also enter the information into Pastel online, that lets me track my personal expenses, because those slips just end up fading, so I throw the slips away.

I filed my return on the 07th July 2014 via eFiling, immediately received my ITA34 and statement of account, I was requested to submit supporting docs immediately which I submitted on the 09th July via eFiling, I then received a call to resubmit these docs on the 21st July 2014, which I uploaded on the 24th July 2014 via eFiling. After submitting my return this year, I was requested to submit the supporting documents
My Original assessment state: -8076.00 (2 Adults and one child for 10 months and 2 Adults and 2 children for 2 months)
I received the completion letter one week after the completion letter with "no change was made on your assessment".
After 2 weeks from the date I received the completion letter, I received another request to submit supporting documents.

Both my wife and I are employed taxpayers. Her gross salary is in the order of 24000/month and mine is in the order of 34000/month as of January 1st of next year (it's slightly less at the moment). I'm referring to your post on the 6th of August regarding the delay in the refunds. I was selected for audit/verification and submitted supporting docs on the 2nd of July. The 3rd I received a letter of completion that stated that no adjustments will be made and that the verification has been completed.
