I'm a seasonal worker I've submitted my tax returns in August, was suppose to receive my first payment on the 1st of October but it was reversed because my tax cert indicates I've worked for 4 months in 2015 tax year, SARS requested that I submit an affidavit and I did all of that but since then haven't received any correspondence from SARS.

How long is it going take for them to reverse back my money to me? Or should I be worried there's more issues coming?

To avoid long queues can I submit here every year?

I submitted my tax return through SARS eFiling about 2 months ago. And I got an ITA34 about an hour afterwards. And on it says I owe a negative value which I assume means that they need to pay me, and it says that I've not been selected for an audit, and there hasn't been any request for supporting documents. But it's been 2 months and I've heard nothing, nor have I received any payment?

What is my tax number please from SARS?

How do I register for SARS eFiling if a tax practitioner has me on her profile? I would like to do my own taxes as from next year. She advised me to create my own profile and then request my profile from her.

Hi My mother submitted her tax returns in August she was selected for an audit on her 2014 tax returns which the statement of account issued has 21 000 she submitted all her required docs but nothing has happened since then. And to make matters even worse she never received a letter stating she is selected for an audit. So how long does the audit process take and is there something we can do to speed up the process

Cost of rental income tax seems too high

I have declared rental income of a rental income profit of R17445. But SARS are telling me my rental income sent me into another tax bracket and I therefore owe R20308. This seems wrong to me - surely the extra income that is in the new tax bracket should be subject to more tax but I should never make a "loss" by earning more?

Changed jobs and used current IRP5 to file for tax

Hi. I changed jobs last year having worked in the other job until August and started the new job in September, which means I have 2 IRP5 forms. But when I filed for tax the assistant only used the form from the new employer. Is that correct? Does that not give a flawed assessment of the tax returns? Aren't they supposed to enter information from both IRP5 forms? Its puzzling especially when the job change impacted my PAYE significantly.

I did my tax return via SARS eFilling on Monday the 12th of October and called the call centre to ask if I was required to submit any documentation which they said no. When I called again on Thursday I was told that the amount due to me has been released and will be in my account on Friday. When I try to upload a supporting document for my tax return on SARS eFiling, I get the below error:

On SARS status I am insolvent, I took my court letter with necessary documents to SARS and they could not assist me with a new tax number as my old one still shows active on their system. What must I do now to get a new tax number?
