Lump sum indication on personalization of eFiling form?

I have a lump sum paid out from a liberty life provident fund, and have a tax certificate for the transaction. When personalizing my return on eFiling, where do I state that I received this income?

Do I automatically become a tax paying SA citizen because I registered with SARS & renewed my ID Doc

I was born in SA 75 years ago. 1995 I became a US citizen. 2006 I opened a NON-RESIDENT ACCT with FNB CT and bought a flat. 2013 I renewed my ID Doc to do a 12 week job in CT and registered with SARS. My NON-RESIDENT ACCT changed to RESIDENT ACCT. 2013 I retired to CT for 9 months & in 2014 for 8 months, but annual visits before then were only 6 to 8 weeks. I recently completed my 2014 tax return and was due a refund. Shortly after I was asked to complete my previous year return. I haven't done it as I was under the impression that I was under the tax threshold (below 250k). Whilst doing the return I noticed my previous employer incorrectly included my travel reimbursement under the wrong code per IRP5 ( they included as non taxable where as it was actually taxable as it was over 8000 km)
As a result I have a large amount now owing to SARS.
Is there any way for me to deduct actual costs for this if I don't have a log book? I do have a basic summary for the bulk of the expense which I presented to the employer for reimbursement....

If I changed medical aids during the tax year, and my employer only started paying in December 2013, how do I answer the questions? Part of the tax year I was paying for medical aid, part of the year my employer was paying part.

Tim, I am an engineer and I want to take my family to South/ Central America and go work there for a few years for an international company. The aim is to make as much money as possible. Where do I find out details about my tax returns? I have personally never actually done my personal tax and I'm not sure if they have ever been done. Where can I found this information? What do I do from here? Can I find out if my business tax practitioner has been completing my personal tax as well.

I currently earn a salary of R7000 p.m before deductions. R199.50 is deducted every month for PAYE Tax and R70.00 for UIF.

Do I need to fill in a Tax Return form and would I qualify for any refund. I do not have any Medical Aid or Pension Fund,etc.

I'm not very clued up on all these things.

I currently earn R12650 R1391.50 shift allowance per month through my company. I will be getting an additional income R8085 from next month separate to my employer.
