I filed my return for 2014 and was due for a refund,then my statement showed an outstanding return for 2007,which I had initially filed in 2008 but it appeared there was a technical error. I then called SARS and e-mailed the error message to them and they fixed the problem and issued a revised return which I then filed on the 13th of August 2014(using the self help option with a consultant from SARS.
