My daughter is a single mother of one biological son who is 4. Does not receive maintenance from the father. She is also in the process of adopting an abandoned baby that she got in July 13. She has a court document in the meantime that she is a "safe house" for the baby and could not get a grant because it was not a fostered baby. She is covering all the expenses herself. Return - Data Submitted To ITS with SARS?

Would just like to know. I have done my tax return for 2014, and have queried the SARS Status on my eFiling which is now: " Return - Data Submitted To ITS". My assessment has been done, and I have received a statement of account as well. The statement reflects that there is a refund due to me. My question: How long does it take for SARS to process my refund, and how long do I have to wait for the amount to be paid into my account?

Hi. My provident fund contributions through my employer does not reflect on my Employee Tax Certificate.

It does however reflect as a sum on my payslip as at Feb 2014.

Do I include the provident fund amount listed under (4473) for the amount to be entered under (4006) on the tax return for retirement annuity contributions?

I am receiving 2 IRP5s from 2 employers. Suddenly at the tax year end I find that I have been taxed too little. Calculating my income in 2 parts places me in a "x" bracket. Now when the 2 is calculated together I am being calculated in a different bracket and shows a huge amount of tax due. How do I prevent this?

I am being taxed on an amount for free housing. When will I pay less tax? If I get the amount as salary and pay it over to my employer as rent or if they deduct tax from my salary for the free housing.
