Tax deduction from pension payout

I have been employed since 1992. I took a departmental transfer to SAPS in 1995. I did not receive my pension paid from 1992 so I have 23 years service. I want to resign end October 2015. The sum to be paid is R125,9374.40. How much will I be taxed and how much will I get out after tax?

We are married in community of property. How should we do the tax filing?

We are married in community of property. We are both registered with SARS. We both do not work for a employer. We receive investment and rental income on the Husbands name.

Does the Husband report all the investment and rental income on his tax return or should it be split and then reported on the Husband and Wife's tax filing? Hello, I have filed for first time tax returns and they said it went into audit because i filed only for 6 months pay, however I have now provided them with all docs required. I have received an ITA34 showing how much I get refunded.

I work from my home office as a graphic designer. My annual income is under R500 000. This is the second year in a row I've been selected for verification. Any idea why and what does it mean? What should I be doing differently to prevent being flagged? Is it a reflection I'm doing something wrong?

I religiously file my tax returns every year and made a horrid mistake this year. I was due a refund from my 2015 tax return (did the return on 01/07/2015) and haven't received it as yet. After calling their call centre, I was told to complete my 2011 tax return. I did this and checked my 2010 and 2009 to ensure all information was correct, accurate and submitted. What is the difference between a Tax Certificate and the Tax Directive? I have asked my Funds Administrator from my previous work to provide me with a Tax Directive but they sent me a Tax Certificate. I am getting a message from SARS that my tax return has been put on-hold because there is a Tax Directive that's outstanding. Please assist.

1. Under what circumstances can one claim "home office" deductions (code 4028)? And what items can one claim?

2. What can one claim a deduction for under code 4043 "allowable accountancy expense"? (Eg. If a tax practitioner filed our tax return last year, would be able to claim that expense?)

I can't get an IRP5 from my previous employers in 2012 where I was hired by a outsourcing agency to work for another company they had a contract with, they are giving me the run around as to go to the outsourcing agent or to the company I worked for, no one seems to have my IRP5.

May I deduct for depreciation on photographic equipment bought in 2010 now being used for work?

I bought photographic equipment over a period since 2010, the last in February 2015. My previous employer supplied me with equipment to do my job, with the result that I was not allowed any tax deductions for wear-and-tear (depreciation). At my current employer I am using my own equipment on a base of about 60% for work and 40% for private use. Am I allowed to deduct in 2015 for equipment bought since 2010 until 2015?

I used to work for retail when I was a student and worked some weekends got paid differnt amounts depending on my days worked ranging from R200 to R450 a week but I did not get a payslip, now SARS is asking for an IRP5 for 2012 when I was working there. I can't get any thing as I was not getting a payslip I even have no proof that I worked there.
