Does a dormant cc count in generating my personal ITR12?

If I am a member of a close corporation that has ceased trading (I receive no income from the cc) prior to the year of assessment, should I still enter "Y" in my personal ITR12 (in which case a "Statement of Local Assets and Liabilities" section is added to the form. Or can I enter "N"?

Can you please explain what amounts get slit 50/50 when a couple is married in community of property please? My husband is retired and I am the breadwinner. We receive rental and interest. Also what to do with the medical expenses, both membership & additional, in my name only?

I would like to know if I need to register for PAYE. I am 25 years old and a part time student. I au pair in the afternoons (R7500 a month salary) and I also do contract work for 2 companies (R1500 and R2500) salary in order to pay for my fees. One of the companies is asking me to get a tax number in order to pay me and I'm worried about doing that as my salary just about covers my expenses and expensive study fees - so I can't afford deductions.

Outstanding returns

I have outstanding tax returns for tax years 2013, 2014 & 2015 and have IT88 deductions for the periods, how do I reconcile all outstanding tax returns and will the IT88 amounts be considered should there a "Due by you" amount or credited if there is a "Due to you" amount on completion of the assessments. Are you able to assist in getting all these tax returns completed.

I got a performance bonus in December last year. This was paid separate from my salary. I first received my salary then few days later a performance bonus. I have now received my payslip and when I saw that there was a huge difference on my normal salary I was told that payroll deducted tax from the bonus of December from my January salary. Can you please advise if this is legal?

I am an independent consultant. I have been operating since June 2015 and have been paying myself a salary and deducting PAYE
I have recently found out that I must be a provisional tax payer as well
Since I have started in June and have not deducted any expenses to arrive at my taxable income, it appears that with 2 months to go I have overpaid my tax significantly
from a cash flow perspective, I will only receive my refund around July/August

I work for an International company and all our income is in hard currency. I want to negotiate to have my salary pegged in USD. What are the Tax implications of having my salary pegged in USD but getting the ZAR equivalent every month?
e. G. Say I negotiate USD1000 with my employer
