As a sole proprietor making less than R350k/year, do I pay income tax?

Thank you for taking my question. I am a sole proprietor that receives money from a single company for odd jobs around the office. I am not on contract with this company and receive a fixed R15k a month from them into my sole proprietor bank account. I then pay money from the sole proprietor account into my personal account amounting to around R12k-R13k/month. In total, I make less than R350k per annum, will I be liable to pay income tax?

I submitted my 2015 tax return in November 2015 with supporting documents, and to date it is still in audit with no queries raised. Who do I complain about the delay in my finalisation of my tax return? Could the delay be due to the fact that monies are owed to me.

I submitted my 2015 tax return [regular tax return] for March 2014 to February 2015 period, by due date in November 2015. No problems and monies due paid over. SARS deducted money from my account without resolving a lodged dispute.

In 2013 my employer at the time deducted PAYE but did not pay same over to SARS. Upon receipt of a demand from SARS I lodged a Fraud notification with SARS and my accountant lodged a dispute with SARS. To date no resolution on the matter, other than SARS Debt Department sent a final demand to a redundant email address rather than on E filing as one would expect, which will have then been received by my accountant. Yesterday SARS took my entire bank balance, what do I do?

I took out medical gap cover under my own name. I have since stopped working. The debit order for it has changed to my husbands bank account. Can he still claim for the gap cover under "costs not covered by medical scheme" if the policy is in my name and he pays for it?

I initially filled for my tax returns for 2015 and I was told that I had two outstanding years I have to filled and until I do, i'm not going to receive my refund and I was told that i've been selected for an audit as it's mostly the case for foreign contract workers. I was retrenched at age 54. One third tax free amount paid out to me. Started working again for another company after 4years. A contribution towards a provident fund was paid in by new company when I started work again after 4years. I am now 69 years of age and retire by end March 2016. Will I be entitled for another one third tax free payment?

If I am a member of a close corporation that has ceased trading (I receive no income from the cc) prior to the year of assessment, should I still enter "Y" in my personal ITR12 (in which case a "Statement of Local Assets and Liabilities" section is added to the form. Or can I enter "N"?

I would like to know if I need to register for PAYE. I am 25 years old and a part time student. I au pair in the afternoons (R7500 a month salary) and I also do contract work for 2 companies (R1500 and R2500) salary in order to pay for my fees. One of the companies is asking me to get a tax number in order to pay me and I'm worried about doing that as my salary just about covers my expenses and expensive study fees - so I can't afford deductions.

I have outstanding tax returns for tax years 2013, 2014 & 2015 and have IT88 deductions for the periods, how do I reconcile all outstanding tax returns and will the IT88 amounts be considered should there a "Due by you" amount or credited if there is a "Due to you" amount on completion of the assessments. Are you able to assist in getting all these tax returns completed.

A NPO supplies employees with a cell phone and the NPO pays the contract. The calls are predominantly business, but some private calls take place. How does the fringe benefit get calculated? The contract supplies data, sms and calls.

Hi, SARS ask for supporting documents, but when I open my ITR12 in the history, there is not a tab for submitting documents like you explain. Where must I upload this documents now?
