Info on eFiling registration and eFiling number to do personal eFiling?

If I am registered with eFiling. My eFiling was done by another person - I want to do my e-filing myself. What are the procedures if I am already registered? Do I just do a new registration on my computer. Do I need my e-filing number and how can I get my e-filing number?

My employer completes my ITR12 and as I don't have any other claims or income, it is usually fine to be submitted as is. However, SARS says I owe them money. As I understand from our finance department, my employer never attached the "Tax certificate on income replacement benefits" that states that the employees does have access to a disability income benefit. My son is working on a contract basis (2nd year) - Salary R10 000.00 pm. Since his 2nd year of working, he does not get his full salary on time - he usually get his salary by the 12th - 16th of the month and then it will be a third of his salary. He does not get any pay slips. Is my son suppose to register for SARS?

Am I in deep trouble can it be resolved?

Hi Tim.
I made a mistake on my tax return with my independents, I said I have 34 independents instead of 4 silly mistake I know. SARS paid out money to me and now they picked up my mistake 3 months later needless to say I no longer have the money if they want it back. Will I be able to pay this money back in installments and why didn't they pick this up when the tax return was submitted?

I recently filed my tax return through the eFiling thing and I was told by SARS that I am being audited. Because I am new to the eFiling thing, I submitted my return twice. The 'original assessment' which showed a -R3,684.00 amount contains the most accurate information as the main difference I noticed between the 'additional assessment' (which stated that I owe SARS over R2,000 ) and the 'original assessment' was the number of people covered on medical aid. I have a question, I have submitted my tax, also got the letter requesting the IRP5 as code 4102, PAYE credit of R30 551.15 was being questioned. I have submitted the respective IRP5 for review already. Do you have knowledge of:

I receive a salary per month and pay my usual taxes. I am assisting a friend on a monthly basis with his business in my spare capacity. He pays me per month R4 700.00 consultation fees and would like to be invoiced for that. I am not registered as a business, what are the tax implications for me.

I owe SARS unpaid assessed VAT which is accumulating interest and penalties. It has been almost 10 years and I received no correspondence from them concerning this matter. Upon my recent request for a tax clearance certificate I was told I had unpaid taxes that are accumulating interest. How do I go about settling this with SARS. I am now unemployed and have no assets. Can I make small payments or get part of it written off as I was unaware of this matter until now?

I was employed in South Africa from Jan'2011 till 1st Aug'2013 (relocated to USA). I have filed my tax in 2011 and 2012.

Now I filed my tax return for 2013 through eFiling with all supporting documents. Post submission, I got an original assessment which showed me a credit of (ZAR -37,000); however it was also selected for audit and today after a month, there is another version of IT34 uploaded which shows an amount of (ZAR 820) which I need to pay to SARS. They have also mentioned that this IT34 doesn't show any amount calculated in previous assessment and that my statement balance is now (ZAR 37000 - ZAR 820 = 36,180)....
