I submitted my tax return and was informed by SARS that I should be a provisional tax payer. Because I didn't register, SARS wants to fine me over R400,000.
What is the possibility of having that fine rescinded - I had not been informed by my previous tax consultant of my obligation to register as a provisional tax payer, and now I am being fined for it?

My mom is 73 years old and she has had some penalties from previous years that she has made arrangements to pay to SARS, last year she was advised buy an official at a SARS branch to apply for tax pardon as she can no longer afford the monthly payments to SARS. There has been no response.

My son has been sequestrated and have no bank account. Currently he is utilizing a savings account of mine where his salary is paid in and he can do his transactions.

On submitting his tax return by eFiling he changed the banking details to the above. However SARS will not accept and therefore will not pay money due to him.

I am a freelance designer and I submit my return via eFiling. All my clients barring one have uploaded an IT3(a) for me. They say they don't issue tax certificates to non permanent employees. Can I add them on eFiling if I don't have a tax certificate from them as I don't have all the required details to fill out?

I have donated money regularly to my Church and have obtained a receipt for those donations. The church is PBO reg number PBO 930004251.I need to claim the donations as a deductible and need to use the correct source code??

I worked for a company from January 2012 - Aug 2013. About a week ago I contacted them to inquire about my provident fund (I am still waiting for my provident fund to be paid out into my account). My Employer (A Church), did not submit my IRP5 for tax season 2013. The person responsible (the Financial Treasurer) actually died of cancer in February 2013. So, this is my predicament: When I wanted to do my ITR12 On eFiling, there was no IRP5 details on my ITR12.

My question is: What is the correct protocol that I should follow to rectify the situation in order to get my ITR12 filed before the deadline on Friday 22 November. Can I fill in the IRP5 detail on the ITR12 myself?

If I receive an income of about R69 900 per year as a salary and interest of about R3 000 per year. Do I have to register and fill in income tax forms on e-filing? What is the closing date for individuals?
