Logbook requirements for SARS for claiming travel allowance?

I hadn't submitted my tax forms from 2009 and 2010 (although SARS had owed me money in each of those instances) but I'm trying to resubmit now. I got paid for some of the travel that I conducted from my business (roughly R4/km) and I kep an online logbook on Excel. Is this sufficient for SARS or do I need to fill it out on an official SARS logbook?

I have received a completion letter from SARS, saying that no amendment has been made. How long until I get my refund?

Hi Tim. I submitted my tax through SARS efiling. I am claiming for medical expenses not covered by Medical Aid. The amount to be paid out to me was R5 700. I then had to make a correction as I found another slip which was a lot of money, so I filed for a correction. The amount they paid out in the end, still reflected the initial amount of R5 700. What should I do?

I have submitted my tax return for 2015 via SARS e filing but they keep asking me to upload supporting documents, which I do and then they tell me two weeks later that they have not received them. Calling them or going to their offices is mission impossible, and I am waiting for a month for my payment.

Is there anything else that I can do to follow up on the process?

I got a letter from my medical aid saying "the amount not covered by scheme is R1092". Does this mean I owe SARS?

Hi. Submit my tax return via SARS eFiling on the 1st of July. I work for saps. Delayed refund from SARS?

Hi there,

I submitted my tax rerun for this year and SARS have requested returns for 2011 and 2012. Since they didn't ask for these last year, am I correct in assuming that I didn't need to submit them in the past and will therefor not be penalized?

Impact of MA contributions less than allowed credit

I am over 65, my medical contributions are less than 3 times the tax credit. Does this negative value get carried forward and offset against any allowed medical deductions or is it zeroed?

Hi there, my wife is due a refund, after following up with SARS they said she needs to submit a return for 2009. The problem as you advised in your article (https://www. Taxtim. Com/za/blog/sars-isnt-paying-my-refund-they-want-my-old-returns) is that there is zero chance of acquiring those old documents now. Is her only option a police affadavit?
How does she submit a return on eFiling, when there is no record of it on there? (This is what SARS said she must do. . . )

I submitted my tax return for 2015, I then went back and removed the actual values for repairs and maintenance for my vehicle as I do not have proof of all the records like my insurance, I only have proof of the fuel and maintenance. The institution submitted a Death Claim to Sanlam Umbrella fund and now they are saying they are unable to pay because SARS is rejecting tax directives what could be the cause of that because the Tax number in the IRP5 is correct

I submitted by tax return via SARS eFiling on 7 July 2015. On 9 July 2015 I checked what progress had been made only to find a letter stating that they require documentation for review. In January my wife and I we relocated. We started renting out our house since beginning of Jan 2015. In my tax return, must I count the rental income only for January and February, and subtract cost ie monthly repayment on the home loan and agent commissions?
