Receiving misleading information from SARS regarding income tax return refund?

Any idea on what is happening with income tax returns this year?? I have submitted my return early July, only to find out that I am being "audited". I have done the documents needed twice, had to do a dispute, got a return that the objection was allowed, and have subsequently been waiting for my refund since the 3rd of September. I have been phoning the call centre twice a week since then, and have had just as many different responses from them as to what is happening on my return! The answer ...

Where do I find out details about my tax returns? I have personally never actually done my personal tax and I'm not sure if they have ever been done. Where can I found this information? What do I do from here? Can I find out if my business tax practitioner has been completing my personal tax as well.

Would I qualify for a Tax Refund if I earn R7000 a month before deductions?

I currently earn a salary of R7000 p.m before deductions. R199.50 is deducted every month for PAYE Tax and R70.00 for UIF.

Do I need to fill in a Tax Return form and would I qualify for any refund. I do not have any Medical Aid or Pension Fund,etc.

I'm not very clued up on all these things.

But this year I have a very small job that will pay out about R30K and I recieve money for contract work to the tune of R100K 1) How much money should I keep aside for tax (approximately)2) Should I file a tax return. I have been working and earning an income below the tax threshold and my employer did not register me for PAYE or UIF, in the past 3 months my salary was increased but I was still not registered so have not being paying tax. I incurred an assessed capital loss for the 2013 tax year through sale of shares. For 2014, I made a capital gain also via shares. I read that we don't need to include the R30000 annual exclusion in our ITR12 as SARS will include this automatically. Does the same apply for the assessed capital loss? I can't find any place for it in SARS eFiling.
