Status field says "Correction filed"

IT12 was submitted to SARS 14th July via SARS eFiling, and was immediately selected for verification or audit, so the documents were uploaded & submitted via SARS eFiling the same day. However when checking it is still reflecting status as "correction filed" and no documents for review have been received. Why is this?

Hi. I submitted my tax return on the 2nd July and was told to submit supporting documents, which I uploaded the same day. On 14 July I received a completion letter stating:

"We refer to the verification of your assessment for the 2015 tax period. Please note that no adjustment has been made to this assessment. However, in terms of the Tax Administration Act the South African Revenue Service reserves the right to conduct further reviews in future if required. Filing historic return with missing IRP5

My wife has submitted her tax return for 2015 and a refund is due to her. SARS is requesting that she file tax returns for 2007 and 2008 before the refund is processed. She changed employment during 2007. The company she worked for is unable to supply her with an IRP5 as it is over 5 years old. What does she do it this case?

When I submitted my IRP5 the consultant told me they have two banking details which is ABSA and Capitec, so my question is can they delay the payout due to two different bank account?

Since medical aid now reduces the monthly taxable amount on your salary, does this mean it will not increase your refund amount when you submit tax returns?

I owe SARS but can only afford to pay R200 a month. Will they accept it?

I submitted my tax return through SARS e filing on the 1st July 2015; got results on 07/08/15. On the 08/07 I got correspondence that I didn't file/submit tax return for 2011 and I was not working on that year. I submitted an affidavit on the 08/07 and until now I'm not getting the money SARS owe me back. What may be the delay?

Must I submit the log book when submiting on SARS efiling?

Morning,
I need to do SARS e-filing. What I would like to ask is does the travel log book have to be attached or only on request by SARS? The log book has been done manually in a book so I will have to transfer all that information into digital form but thought I could go ahead do e-filing without attaching it, and then if they request then I could do a digital form of the logbook and send it to them. Is this right?

Hi Tim, I just wanted to find out, I filled in my tax return and according the IT34, SARS owes me a refund. How long do the refunds normally take because the bottom block doesn't say I need to submit documents and today is already the 4th working day?

I would like just to find out I received a letter of completion from SARS so does that mean I will get paid or what?

Outstanding tax return is holding up my refund, I cannot get the IRP5 as employer is deceased.

Hey Taxtim. I submitted my tax returns on the 10th of July this year. SARS informed me that I would get a refund of about R17000, which I desperately need. After a few days I called them to ask when I might receive this refund, they informed me that they are not going to give it to me yet as I have outstanding tax returns for 2012.

I did not have this issue last year when I filled or the previous year. I worked for a company from February 2011 until August 2011, I was never issued an IRP5 or any payslip. ...

I had a low income job for 11 months of the year. My yearly income would have been under the threshold, so I never paid any tax. I am not sure if my employer registered me, but I never received any tax documents or tax number. In February 2015 I started a new job with a higher salary. My yearly salary now puts me above the threshold and my new employer registered me and I've been paying tax since Feb. But since I only did this job for 1 month of the last tax year, my yearly income for 2014/2015 tax year remains under the threshold of R70 700. ...

My tax practitioner did my IRP5. I must get a refund of 3115 Rand. I have no outstanding funds that I owe money for SARS. I wait 8 days. I get nothing, no response.
