Why should I pay tax because I earn so little.

I'm an intern for a year & I earn 60000 per annum, do I really have to pay tax? It's a daylight robbery because I'm not permanent.

No you do not need to pay tax as this amount is less than the tax threshold for R73 650 for the 2016 year. However not being a permanent employee has nothing to do with paying tax or not.
