Where does the amount under Deductions/Contributions on my IRP5 come from?

I would like to understand all the amounts reflected on my IRP5 and their source codes.

If you are using the TaxTim system then as you enter in the source codes from your IRP5 the meanings will magically pop up to explain them. Otherwise on our Taxhelp section all the source codes are listed for you to use and understand, see here https://www.taxtim.com/za/tax-help.php#source-code.
