What age are you?

Age 60 male. It's a voluntary separation package for early retirement, and after the payout my monthly pension is R40,000.

Please make use of our income tax calculator to work out the monthly tax you will pay. Your monthly pension income will be taxed at the same rate as per PAYE tables used for your normal monthly salary.
