Does an IT3(B) interest received mean that you will receive that amount after declaring your tax? I received the ir3b from gepf requesting that I add it to my tax submission.

No, this is the summary of all the interest you earned during the year on your investment. You need to add this to the interest section of the return. Please Register for TaxTim and let us help you file and submit your return to SARS.

Thanks sO much!! I don't really have any investment or even a pension fund anymore. I resigned 2 years ago and was paid out my full pension. I received the ir3b from government employers pension fund stating the tax return from investments, property, rights and royalties. Yet I have no knowledge of any such arrangement. As fOr my understanding, my investment with them ended when they paid me out in full.
