What is the percentage tax to pay on commission earned. My salary is R35 000 and some months I earn about R180 000 commission.

It would be taxed at average rate of tax depending on the method used by your employer.

You should apply for a directive from SARS in order to have your employer deduct a fixed percentage each month.
