Reviewing assessment

I got this message on my eFiling profile. Can you please tell me what it means?
Please note that your return cannot be processed as SARS is currently reviewing your assessment. The return will be reviewed as part of this process. SARS will advise you on the outcome in due course

And also it says selected for audit or verification. How do I know which one?

Is that all it said? SARS will contact you in a matter of days most likely requesting documents backing up the information you provided in the return. Let us know when that comes please. An audit and verification are basically the same thing as the first review, SARS just needs to check that the information you provided them is the same as what they have. Provided you can back everything up there is nothing to worry about.

Hi yes that is all. They requested my IRP5. Will send it to them asap. It says that they owe me R3500. Will I still get it? And how long will this take? Thank you for your help

SARS can take up to 30 working days for this to be processed.
