Prior years eFiling?

Ok I have a few questions. If I want to submit tax returns for prior years, how far back may I submit? and What is the required minimum income (I know this year it is R250000) but wasnt it different in prior years?
If I submitted my tax returns a few years (4) back manually? will I be able to see the assessment on eFiling? If not how can I get my assessment? And if I was previously required to submit a tax return but am not required to anymore do I still need to submit it?

You should always submit a return for completeness sake and to avoid SARS ever coming back to you requesting submission. You will only be able to see the results of your return for the manual return submitted.
