I was recently asked by our company's HR assistant, for my tax number. I was under the impression that I'd already been registered - on my payslip it states that I've been paying R45 tax. I contacted SARS gave in my details and they informed me that I wasn't registered. I've asked the HR assistant what the PAYE was and she mentioned it was R7000. I'm just really concerned and unsure how to approach the situation. |

TaxTim Alicia said: 3 May 2016 at 11:10 Request a copy of your IRP5 from your HR for each year you have worked for the company. There should be a tax number on it, and it should also reflect your total PAYE contributions. |
