Why does my IRP 5 tax certificate not reflect on my tax profile, even though it was electronically submitted by my employer?

You need to call SARS and ask them if they have a record. Also ask your employer as well. This does sometimes happen. You will then have to manually complete the IRP5 section based on your physical copy.
