Letter of completion

I received a letter of completion yesterday afternoon at about 15:34h. What does this mean?
I submitted my 2012, 2014 and 2015 tax return and received a letter for 2015 does this mean that everything was finalized, when should I receive my refund.

This means your tax return assessment for that year has been finalised, however you do need to receive a letter for all the other years as well before everything is considered finalised.

Thank you for the feedback, I am a bit concerned though.

Shouldn't they do a full audit at once, I don't understand why 2015 has been finalized and not the other 2 years, Aren't they suppose to work on all my tax returns at one time when they work through my file, instead of doing 2015 audit this week and then work on another audit for a different client and then next week another auditor will work on my 2012 tax return......

How does this actually work if I submitted 3 tax returns but they work on the tax returns on different times, I'm just concerned that they might have skipped the 2012 and 2014 tax return and now my full refund is on hold without them knowing there's still other tax returns that need to be audit.

I would have thought that they will look at all the tax returns at the same time.

This is how SARS works as each audit goes to a different SARS official unfortunately. Agreeably it should be done the way you suggest, but unfortunately their processes are not always aligned. You will just have to be patient I am afraid.
