The 2016 tax year runs from 1 March 2015 to 28 Feb 2016. The tax filing season for 2016 would only start from 1 July 2017, therefore you have plenty of time. You would only need to complete a Tax Return if you are paying tax and earning above the tax threshold which is current R73,650 per annum.
