Every month my company deducts my tax on my salary, but suddenly SARS mentions that I am owing them. I don't know, either the problem is me or it's my company?

There are two possible causes. Either:

1. For whatever reason, the monthly amounts paid over to SARS for your tax by your company was not enough to cover all your tax.

2. It could be that you had other income which your company did not know about, and SARS are taxing you on this.
