I am not registered as a taxpayer?

I recently lost my job and, I have started my own business. I work alone but in the feature I will have to employ 2-3 workers. What I want to now is must I register my business as a PTY company? I am not register as a taxpayer. Must I register as a tax payer? I started my business 3 months back and I make R5600.00 ?%u20AC%u201C R9800.00 p/m?

You do not need to register a company yet until you employee 2-3 people which will then give you tax benefits to register the company. You do need to register for a personal tax number. You can follow the guidelines by clicking the link How to get a SARS tax number
