I am a freelance pilot, can I claim the cost of renewing my pilots licence ?

or keeping them current if not used for a certain no of hours per year, as I have more than one? These are requirements from the CIA

You should be able to claim the cost of renewing your license because the license expense is necessary for you to carry on your trade as a pilot unless you are salaried full time.
