How much detail needs to be supplied on the IT77?

I am a South African working in the UK. My tax number has fallen away so I have to apply for another one. Do I still need to submit Employer details, business address and income details as I will be retiring in a few months' time?

No you do not, you can submit just your personal details and current income and that will be sufficient.
