How long does audit take?

I was audited nearly 3 months ago. I was requested to submit documents, which I have done in July already and have had no feedback as yet. How long does this usually take?

An audit can take anywhere from a few days to 9 months depending on who you speak to at SARS. Once it is with the assessors and auditors there is nothing a taxpayer can really do to speed up the process and therefore the only thing we can recommend is to be patient until you receive the Completion Letter from SARS.
