HOw can I get my refund?

SARS owes me more than R12000 and refuse to pay because I have not submitted a tax return for 2008, how can I correct this?

If you still have access to the documents you used for the 2008 return submission we suggest that you resubmit the return via eFiling in order to get your R12000 refund.
If you unfortunately do not have the documents its best that you Swear an affidavit at the police station stating that you have complied with the submission initially and therefore dont have access to the documents anymore.
